Astro Parampara Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Astro Parampara mobile application, website and related services operated by Parampariyam Smart Solutions Private Limited.

By creating an account, requesting an OTP, accessing the application, making a payment or using a consultation, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. Do not use Astro Parampara if you do not agree.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create an account, make payments or use paid consultations.

By using Astro Parampara, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that your use of the Services is lawful in your jurisdiction.

3. Account Registration and Security

Accounts are created and accessed using mobile-phone OTP authentication.

You agree to:

• Provide a valid mobile phone number
• Provide accurate profile and birth information
• Keep your device and account access secure
• Never disclose an OTP to another person
• Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access
• Maintain only accounts that you are authorised to use

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our failure to apply reasonable security measures. We may request additional information to verify an account, astrologer application, payment, support request or deletion request.

4. Description of Services

Astro Parampara may provide:

• User and astrologer account creation
• Astrologer discovery and profiles
• Live one-to-one voice consultations
• Wallet recharge and consultation payments
• Call and transaction history
• Daily horoscope, Panchang and Kundali or birth-chart features
• Astrology categories and related informational content
• Notifications and customer support

Features may be added, modified, suspended or removed as the Services develop.

5. Role of Astro Parampara

Astro Parampara provides a technology platform that helps users discover and communicate with astrologers.

Astrologers may be independent professionals or service providers approved to use the platform. Unless expressly stated in writing, an astrologer’s statements, predictions and advice are their own and do not represent a guarantee or endorsement by Parampariyam Smart Solutions Private Limited.

We may review astrologer applications and profiles, but approval does not guarantee accuracy, qualifications, suitability, predictions or results.

6. Astrology Disclaimer

Astrology is interpretative, and results may vary between astrologers. Consultations, horoscopes, Panchang information, Kundali information and predictions are provided for personal guidance and informational purposes. They should not be treated as guaranteed facts or outcomes.

Astro Parampara and its astrologers do not guarantee:

• Future events, marriage or relationship outcomes
• Employment, business or financial results
• Medical recovery, legal outcomes, pregnancy or fertility outcomes
• Examination results
• Removal of supernatural influences
• Success from gemstones, rituals, remedies or other recommendations

Users remain responsible for their decisions and actions. Astrology services are not a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, legal, financial, tax, investment or emergency advice.

7. Live Voice Consultations

Consultations are provided through live one-to-one voice communication.

Consultation duration may be subject to a maximum limit displayed in the application. The current app may limit a consultation to approximately ten minutes unless a different limit is shown.

A consultation may end because of:

• The configured time limit or insufficient wallet balance
• A user or astrologer ending the call
• Network failure or device and permission issues
• Application or service-provider interruption
• Suspected misuse or security concerns

8. No Recording or Replay

The platform may retain non-audio metadata such as participants, status, duration, timestamps and charges.

Users and astrologers must not secretly record, publish, distribute, sell or misuse consultation content. A person who independently records a consultation is responsible for obtaining all permissions required by applicable law. Unauthorised recording or distribution may lead to account suspension or legal action.

9. Pricing and Wallet

Astrologer prices may be displayed as a per-minute rate or another clearly described charging method. Prices may vary by astrologer, experience, availability, promotion, taxation or service configuration.

Users may need sufficient Astro Parampara wallet balance before requesting a consultation. Charges may be deducted according to the displayed rate, actual connected duration, maximum consultation duration, applicable taxes and valid promotional adjustments.

The wallet:

• Is intended only for eligible Astro Parampara services
• Does not constitute a bank account and does not earn interest
• Cannot be transferred, resold or traded through unauthorised methods
• Will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the refund process

10. Payments

Payments may be processed through Razorpay or another authorised payment provider presented at checkout. Users agree to provide accurate payment information and comply with the payment provider’s terms.

Astro Parampara generally receives transaction references, payment status and amount information. Complete card, CVV, UPI PIN or online-banking credentials are handled by the payment provider and are not directly stored by Astro Parampara.

A payment may fail or remain pending because of:

• Bank or UPI-provider failure
• Network interruption or incorrect payment information
• Payment-provider review or fraud-prevention measures
• Technical delays

A successful bank debit does not automatically mean the wallet recharge was completed. Contact support with the transaction reference where an amount was debited but the wallet was not credited.

11. Refunds and Adjustments

Refund or wallet-adjustment requests may be considered for:

• Duplicate payment
• Successful payment without wallet credit
• Consultation charge without a successful connection
• Confirmed technical failure attributable to the platform
• Incorrect deduction caused by a system error
• Other circumstances required by applicable law

Requests should be sent to support@parampariyam.in with the registered mobile number, transaction reference, date, amount and relevant screenshots.

Charges for successfully connected and consumed consultations are normally non-refundable merely because the user disagrees with, dislikes or is dissatisfied with an interpretation or prediction. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Astrologer Responsibilities

Astrologers must:

• Provide accurate profile and professional information
• Use only their authorised account and maintain appropriate conduct
• Respect user confidentiality
• Avoid discriminatory, abusive, sexual, threatening or misleading conduct
• Avoid guaranteed predictions or deceptive claims
• Avoid impersonating regulated professionals
• Never request OTPs, passwords, UPI PINs or sensitive payment credentials
• Avoid unauthorised off-platform payments and unrelated marketing
• Avoid recording or distributing consultations
• Maintain accurate availability status and comply with applicable law

13. User Responsibilities

Users must not:

• Create an account using another person’s number without permission
• Harass, threaten or abuse astrologers or support staff
• Submit false information or fraudulent payment claims
• Attempt to bypass consultation charges
• Reverse legitimate payments through fraudulent chargebacks
• Record or distribute consultations without lawful permission
• Request illegal, harmful or exploitative services
• Use the platform for stalking, blackmail or intimidation
• Attempt to access another person’s data or interfere with systems
• Scrape, overload, reverse engineer or misuse the Services

14. Prohibited Advice and Conduct

Astrologers and users must not use the Services to promote or request:

• Self-harm, suicide or violence
• Harmful medical misinformation
• Illegal acts, fraud or financial exploitation
• Guaranteed cures or supernatural guarantees
• Threats based on death, illness, curses or disaster
• Sexual exploitation, child exploitation, hate or discriminatory abuse
• Unlawful gambling or money laundering
• Secret banking credentials, passwords or OTPs

Where we reasonably believe there is immediate danger or illegal conduct, we may restrict access and cooperate with lawful authorities.

15. Availability and Technical Limitations

We aim to provide reliable Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Access may be affected by network quality, device compatibility, permissions, third-party outages, maintenance, security incidents, legal requirements or events outside our reasonable control.

We may temporarily suspend features for maintenance, security, emergency response or service improvement.

16. Notifications

By enabling notifications, users may receive:

• Incoming consultation alerts and call-status notifications
• Account and security messages
• Wallet and transaction information
• Scheduled service notifications
• Important policy or maintenance notices

Users may control non-essential notifications through device settings. Certain transactional or security notices may remain necessary.

17. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe that:

• These Terms were violated
• Information supplied is false or misleading
• The account creates a security or fraud risk
• Payments are unauthorised or fraudulent
• The account is used for abuse or unlawful activity
• Continued access may harm users, astrologers, the company or third parties
• Action is required by law or a competent authority

18. Account Deletion

Users may request deletion through the in-app Delete Account feature or: https://parampariyam.in/account-deletion/

Deletion may permanently remove or anonymise profile and account information. Certain transaction, taxation, fraud-prevention, legal or dispute records may be retained where required or permitted by law.

Before deletion, users should resolve pending consultations, support cases, refunds and wallet-balance issues.

19. Intellectual Property

Astro Parampara, including its branding, logo, interface, software, graphics, text, design and original content, is owned by or licensed to Parampariyam Smart Solutions Private Limited.

Users receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to use the Services in accordance with these Terms. Protected content may not be copied, modified, sold or commercially exploited without written authorisation, except where permitted by law.

20. User-Submitted Content

Users and astrologers remain responsible for information, images and content they submit. By uploading content intended for display or service operation, the submitting person grants us a limited licence to host, process, reproduce and display it only as necessary to operate and promote the relevant service.

The submitting person confirms that they have the right to provide the content and that it does not infringe another person’s rights.

21. Privacy

Use of personal information is governed by the Astro Parampara Privacy Policy: https://parampariyam.in/privacy-policy/. The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

22. Third-Party Services

The Services may depend on third parties such as Firebase, Agora, Razorpay and astrology-data providers. Third-party functionality may also be governed by the provider’s terms and policies.

We are not responsible for independent third-party services beyond the extent required by applicable law, but we will take reasonable steps to investigate service issues affecting Astro Parampara.

23. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not warrant that every prediction will be accurate, the Services will always be uninterrupted, every astrologer will always be available, personal expectations will be met or every technical issue will be corrected immediately.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

24. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Parampariyam Smart Solutions Private Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or speculative loss arising from reliance on astrology predictions, personal decisions, acts or statements of an astrologer, unauthorised recording by another participant, device or network failure, third-party service failure, or unauthorised account use caused by sharing an OTP or failing to secure a device.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any liability that cannot legally be limited.

25. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, users and astrologers agree to be responsible for losses, claims or expenses arising from their unlawful conduct, violation of these Terms, infringement of third-party rights or misuse of the Services. This section does not require a consumer to indemnify us for losses caused by our own unlawful conduct.

26. Force Majeure

We will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet or telecommunications failures, government action, power interruption, civil disturbance, cyberattacks or third-party infrastructure failure.

27. Changes to the Services or Terms

We may update the Services and these Terms to reflect operational, legal, security or product changes. Updated Terms will display a revised effective date. Where a material change requires notice or consent, we will provide an appropriate in-app or other notification.

28. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties should first attempt to resolve disputes by contacting support@parampariyam.in.

Subject to applicable consumer-protection law and mandatory jurisdictional requirements, courts having jurisdiction over the registered office of Parampariyam Smart Solutions Private Limited will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to the Services.

29. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. The invalid provision will be interpreted or modified only to the minimum extent necessary to make it lawful and enforceable.

30. No Waiver

Failure to enforce a provision immediately does not waive the right to enforce it later.

31. Entire Agreement

These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any additional policy expressly presented for a particular feature constitute the agreement governing use of Astro Parampara.
